As the video progresses, the imagery shifts between Adele in various settings—such as an empty house symbolising isolation and the weight of memories. The cinematography, featuring slow-motion shots and framing that emphasises Dionne's expressions, enhances the emotional impact of the lyrics, allowing viewers to connect deeply with her experience. Overall, the media language in "Hello" effectively complements the song's message, making it a poignant exploration of lost love and reflection.
